The hosts saw several under-par performances especially at the back.

It was a rout at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, as ATK cruised to a 0-3 win against NorthEast United. The home side’s defending was quite abject and they were lucky to have only conceded three, when the scoreline could have been much bigger. [KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] Here’s how the Indian players on both sides fared:

NorthEast United

Subhasish Roy Chowdhury- 5.5 Could have done with more protection from the defence in front of him. However, couldn’t have done much to prevent any of the goals. Made a couple of good saves to keep the score down. Reagan Singh- 4.0 Wasn’t much at fault position-wise, not too many of the opposition attacks happened along his flank. But, his forward passing was terribly off, providing next to nothing in build-up play. Wayne Vaz- 4.0 Dealt with high balls decently enough, but like his fellow defenders wasn’t convincing at all. Got turned too easily by Roy Krishna for the second goal. Rakesh Pradhan- 4.0 His positioning was an issue just like in the previous games. Both goals happened through his flank, as he stationed himself miles up field. Whipped in a number of teasing crosses into the box, as ATK took their foot off the gas in the second half. K. Lalthathanga- 6.0 His distribution was good for most parts of the game, creating the two best goalscoring chances for the home side. But, he was pretty ineffective along with captain Jose Leudo in shielding the defence, as ATK were constantly cutting through it. Redeem Tlang- 4.0 Another game that passed him by in an attacking sense, as he dropped back to help his team in defending. The winger seems to have lost some of his initial confidence in the last couple of games.

Substitutions

Nikhil Kadam- 3.0 Was sent on to change the game for the home side, but looked totally out of his depth. Should have easily buried the best chance the Highlanders had to come back into the game.

ATK

Arindam Bhattacharya- 6.0 Wasn’t tested much by the opposition in the 90 minutes, but was alert to fend off a stinging shot from Triadis from outside the box. Commanded his area well. Pritam Kotal- 6.5 An error-free performance from the India international on the right-side of a three-man backline, as he made a number of good interceptions and headed clearances. Prabir Das-  7.5 Playing in the right wing-back role, Prabir put in an energetic shift, using his pace well to surge forward and press hard when without the ball. Showed great ambition to chase, cross and put the ball on a plate for David Williams' opener. Salam Ranjan Singh- 6.5 The 24-year-old put in a disciplined performance on the left-side of the back three, passing the ball around comfortably and dealing with the little threat that the opposition posed. Sehnaj Singh- 5.5 The 26-year-old went in with a safety first approach in the game, staying at the base of the midfield to provide a physical presence in the middle of the park.  Michael Soosairaj- 6.5 The former Jamshedpur FC winger was an eager outlet on the left wing and had an important role in keeping possession, getting disposesseded only a couple of times. Performed his defensive duties well. [KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News | Article Continues Below"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]

Substitutions

Jayesh Rane- N/A Didn't play long enough to deserve a rating. Jobby Justin- 6.0 Was the last man to come on and grabbed the assist against the run of play for ATK’s third goal.
