Approach Towards Saturday's Game

“We saw the game between Odisha and Jamshedpur. It (Odisha FC) is a strong team. They have their strengths and we are working on this. But, of course, at home we will be playing more attacking football, make the fans enjoy and we are ready for that kind of football,”  Robert Jarni revealed.

The Croatian also announced that he had a fully fit team ahead of the game on Saturday evening.

“The full squad is ready and available and I am happy because I can choose. We have the full squad and now the last training before the game. It is raining, so the pitch is not in a very good condition, but we will finish our training,”  the 50-year-old added.

On Asamoah Gyan’s impact

“He had two chances to score and it is always difficult to create chances against Bengaluru because they are a very strong team," Robert Jarni opined.

"For us, he is a very important player because he gives us something different and of course, people know him, everybody knows him here. For us, he is a very important player and if we can create more chances for him it is going to be easier to score,”  the Croatian added.

NorthEast United face Odisha FC at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati on Saturday evening.
