Lajong Youngsters thrashed Flamingo from Nagaland 5-0 in the Bordoloi Trophy

Shillong Lajong Football Club defeated Barak FC (Flamingo) from Nagaland by 5-0 today in the Bordoloi Trophy match played at the Nehru Stadium Guwahati today at 7pm..
Milan and Isaac both scored a brace while Samuela scored in extra time to ensure a huge victory for Lajong today. Lajong started the first half brightly as Alen Deory fed the ball nicely for Milan to score within a minute of kick off. Lajong were confident on the ball and dominated possession. Barak FC had created chances to score but could not convert. Milan was on the scoresheet again in the 23rd minute courtesy a long ball from his team mate, Jacob. The first half ended 2-0 in favor of Lajong. In the second half, Barak FC worked hard to trouble the defence but Lajong were more composed and defended well. Alen Deory of Lajong was tripped inside the opponents box and Isaac converted the penalty in the 55th minute. Isaac scored again in the 75th minute to make it 4-0. Samuela came on as a substitute and sealed the victory with a goal in the 92nd minute.
