FC Barcelona sign Antoine Griezmann with whopping buyout clause
The French international has scored 133 goals for 257 games for the club from the Spanish capital.
FC Barcelona have finally ended the Antoine Griezmann transfer saga on 12th July 2019 as they officially signed the French world cup winner after triggering and paying his release clause of €120m.
The LaLiga club took to social media to announce the transfer. The official statement said, "The player will sign a contract with his new club for the next five seasons, through to 30 June 2024, with a buyout clause of €800 million."

It was already reported that the Catalan club was expected to pay the release clause of Griezmann today and it was predicted that the club would make it official over the weekend but the quick action. The former Atletico Madrid forward was on the radar of FC Barcelona since last season but could not materialise the deal.
