If Bale stays, Madrid won't have any problems- Former Real Madrid player Predrag Mijatović
The Yugoslavian also commented on Luka Modric and the new system that Zidane tried.
Former Real Madrid forward and now legend Pedja Mijatovic has time and again criticised Bale and his unwillingness to leave Real Madrid. The Yugoslavian never misses an opportunity to call Bale out for his inability to perform and unwillingness to leave. Staying true to himself, Mijatovic once again took a dig at the Welsh winger while being on the show 'El Larguero' on Cadena SER.
Real Madrid and the manager Zinedine Zidane made themselves clear right in the final few games of La Liga themselves on who would go on to stay and who would leave. Of the ones leaving, Gareth Bale and his transfer have been the most talked-about one in Spain.
The former Tottenham Hotspur winger was made clear that he has to look for a new club as he has no place in Zidane's plans for the upcoming season. But time and again, Gareth Bale and his agent Jonathan Barnett have made it very clear that the Welshman is happy at Madrid and doesn't want to leave.
Pedja Mijatovic has once again criticised Bale for his stubbornness claiming it to be the loss of the Welshman rather than of the club if Bale goes on to stay.
"If [Bale] stays, Madrid won't have any problems," Mijatovic told the show 'El Larguero' on Cadena SER.
"The one who is going to have problems is Bale.
"He isn't in Zidane's plans."
Luka Modric is said to be on his way to PSG in a deal that would see Neymar come the other way. Modric's representatives have made the Spanish media very clear that the Croatian is not leaving Madrid. Mijatovic agrees that Real Madrid won't sell the Ballon d'Or winner.
"He's very happy at Real Madrid and, as a friend, I can say that he's going to stay," Mijatovic said.
"Luka cannot be put in any deal, he's the [reigning] Ballon d'Or."
After having seen Eden Hazard underperform and the defence leak goals, Zidane decided to switch to a system with three at the back and Hazard not asked to do the defensive duties. It turned out to be the right decision in both aspects - Eden Hazard scored while Madrid kept a clean sheet. Mijatovich feels Zidane will continue using the same system.
"I believe that Zidane is going to use the system with three centre-backs fairly regularly," Mijatovic noted.

"However, the pre-season has been a little weird."
