Millat FC to organize 5-a-side tournament in Mumbai

The event will feature teams in the age groups of 12, 14 and 16 years..

MDFA Super Division club Millat FC is set to host a 5-a-side tournament in Mumbai this Sunday. The event will take place at the Jankidevi School Turf near Andheri’s landmark Lokhandwala Complex in the city suburbs. The tournament which commences at the weekend will feature 16 teams in each of the age groups of 12, 14 and 16 years. They will compete in a league cum knockout format with each team playing at least three matches. Each team can have a maximum of eight outfield players except a keeper. There will be five players per team on the pitch at any given time with three rolling substitutes. The winners in each category will take home Rs. 12000 plus a trophy while the runners-up will pocket Rs 8000 to go with the silverware.
