Jose Mourinho gets an update on Anthony Martial via Twitter

The French midfielder has been subjected to continuous transfer rumours for quite some time.

Adding more confusion to the ongoing conundrum, Manchester United forward Anthony Martial posted a tweet after his daughter's birth which has fulled the fire of a potential exit of the French star.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been openly vocal on the absence of Anthony Martial from his pre-season tour of Manchester United of the United States of America which already does not feature the last season's regulars due to their post-World Cup break. The #9 flew back to Manchester owing to the birth of his child, missing the games against Liverpool and Real Madrid. He has now updated the United fans with a tweet.

When asked about Martial's return, Jose Mourinho clinched and conveyed that he did not have a clue on the situation of Anthony Martial. After that media interaction, there was unrest in the atmosphere with speculations of him leaving similar to the infamous exit of Angel di Maria.

However, the latest move from Martial saw him breaking silence on Twitter just after the birth of his daughter after the United boss was irked on his absence.

"Thanks for all your posts," he said. "My little girl is fine, for the mum it was harder but thank god she is better now. Sorry, but my family will always come first. Back tomorrow in Manchester," he further added.

Martial started the first two friendlies for United before he informed Mourinho he would be due to leave for the birth of his second child. However, the United gaffer expected him to be back to the tour and said this after the game against Liverpool, "he should be here, and he is not here".

During his time in the US, Martial looked to have a good time with the rest of the squad and it also seemed that the tension in the camp was over but deciphering the situation now, Martial's Old Trafford future looks more uncertain than ever.
