The Italian tactician is without a club since his departure from Napoli last week.
The Premier League side Arsenal FC are considering to move ahead in their pursuit of Carlo Ancelotti to him as their new head coach. The former Chelsea FC boss is without a club at the moment since his sacking from Napoli last week. [KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] Ever since the departure from Serie A, the 60-year old has been constantly linked with the two jobs available in the Premier League at Everton and Arsenal. Although Everton are at a far better place than the London based club. Arsenal have won just a single game since the departure of Unai Emery but the highlighting factor is the 3-0 defeat to Manchester City. According to Calciomercato, the defeat has escalated the efforts from the Arsenal board to lure Carlo Ancelotti in. However, it is understood that the board was not in the favour of the Italian manager considering his performances in his previous two jobs at FC Bayern Munich and Napoli. The report also mentioned that the club is not satisfied with interim boss Freddie Ljungberg and are now in a hurry to sign a permanent manager. [KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News | ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS] The former Arsenal striker, Kevin Campbell said, "This Arsenal job now needs a man who is experienced. It needs someone who can come in and be ruthless." “When you look at what’s going on behind the scenes, contract talks have stalled with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and I don’t blame him for that. There is Alexandre Lacazette in a similar situation as well. A lot is riding on this next appointment." “Ancelotti is a very good manager and very experienced - he’s won as a player and won as a coach. “If Arsenal have aspirations of getting back in the Champions League, then what better than a man who actually knows how to do it." “Someone like Ancelotti will get the best out of the players who are underperforming.”Latest News
