Chelsea FC: Frank Lampard looking to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga

The Blues have conceded 25 goals in 17 games so far this season.
Chelsea FC started their season with a lot of promise under Frank Lampard and their young academy players. But now with four defeats in the last five Premier League matches, the Blues looks shaky in their top-four pursuit this season.
[KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS]Some of the defeats were overlooked by the management and the supporters but recent defeats against out of form West Ham and a struggling Everton has forced Lampard to rethink his strategies and player selection.
According to some reports in Bleacher Report, sources close to the club have revealed that the Blues are considering to replace their number one custodian Kepa Arrizabalaga, who became the costliest goalkeeper in the world when he joined Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao in 2018.
With the transfer ban getting lifted, Lampard will have the license to spend on areas he feels need improvement. Players like Wilfried Zaha and Nathan Ake are already linked and it will be interesting to see whether Bournemouth and Crystal Palace allow their crucial players to leave in the middle of the season in January.
However, Kepa's performances of late have been pretty poor. The 25-year old Spaniard has been far from convincing at times and his adrenaline rush has often resulted in Chelsea's bane.
The fact was more highlighted in Chelsea's 1-3 defeat against Everton as a statistic popped out which clearly showed that Kepa is down the pecking order in terms of save percentage with only 56%, pretty low according to Premier League standards.
The Spain international was also guilty of conceding the second goal against Valencia in the Champions in a match which ended in a 2-2 draw.
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News | ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]The whole issue is still in talks but the Blues management are worried and is it justified considering the amount they paid to land him at Stamford Bridge in 2018. But his performances have not been anywhere near especially this season.
Still, if Chelsea FC wants to sell Kepa Arrizabalaga, they won't find a club paying around £71.6 million, not with that kind of form and slopy performances. So the West London outfit have to be content with a loss. But for the time being, they must still give him more time as Kepa is still only 25 and with time things may improve for the Athletic Bilbao academy graduate.
