Revealed: Premier League fixtures for the 2019-20 season
The first game week will see the high-voltage clash between Manchester United and Chelsea.
The football fraternity is currently engrossed in the transfer market. But amidst all the transfers the battle swords for the upcoming season have been drawn, as Premier League fixtures for the upcoming season were announced.
European champions and last season runners up, Liverpool feature in the curtain raiser for the new season against Championship winners Norwich City on August 9.
Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham also face a newly promoted side, playoff winners Aston Villa. Whereas Arsenal goes head to head against Newcastle United in their opening fixture.
But the biggest fixture of all has to be Manchester United starting their campaign against Chelsea at the Old Trafford. The Red Devils have bene very busy in the transfer market, and have already roped in a prodigious winger in Daniel James from Swansea. On the other hand, Chelsea are in a lot of mud currently, the Blues have lost their talisman Eden Hazard to Real Madrid and now are on the verge of losing their manager Maurizio Sarri. The Italian is all set to return to Serie A and join record champions Juventus this season. On top of all this the Blues are also in soup with their tranfer ban, so it will be a tough season for the West London outfit.
The Chelsea fans will be hoping that their latest acquisition, Christian Pulisic manages to fill the void left by the Belgian and it will be a daunting challenge for the former Dortmund man.

Premier League champions, Manchester City kickstart their campaign against the tricky West Ham side away from home on Saturday, August 10. Former champions Leicester City will also start their season at home against the challenging Wolves. Whereas newcomers Sheffield United will travel to Bournemouth to face the Cherries.
This will be the first time Premier League will introduce a mid season winter break on February for the players. However fans won't miss out on a lot as the two week break will still ensure that there will be five matches on the first weekend and five on the following weekend. The FA cup fifth round fixtures have been moved to midweek to incorporate the change. The change comes as a blessing for the players, managers and even for the fans as it reduces the chanches of matches being called off or put to threat in challenging snowy conditions.
