Report: Chelsea slap £130m price tag on Eden Hazard
The Belgium international is keen for the deal to be finalised before he joins his national side next month.
Chelsea have named their asking price for star winger Eden Hazard. The West London club have put a hefty tag worth £130m on the Belgian international according to Sky Sports News. But, Real Madrid aren't keen to spend anything more than £88m as the Blues winger is entering the final 12 months of his contract.
Hazard and Madrid have flirted with each other for a long time now and the move finally looks like it could be settled. The Belgian has been reluctant to sign a new deal with the Premier League club, while Los Blancos have expressed their intention to get him on board this summer.
However, the deal isn't as straightforward as it seems, as Chelsea are trying everything possible to keep the Belgian at Stamford Bridge next season. Consequently, they are ready to put a hefty price tag on Hazard that would ensure all potential bidders are overwhelmed.
Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia, a tough negotiator, has taken the deal in her hands in order to not let Los Blancos sway the Belgian away.
But, Hazard has publically requested the London club to settle his future. The 28-year-old asserted that he has made his decision and now expects the club to act as per his wishes.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri wants to keep the Belgian at the club, but also respects his decision and wants the Blues to do the same. The Italian tactician has repeatedly opined that it is very difficult to keep hold of someone for too long, if the player has made up his mind to leave.
According to Belgium football expert Kristof Terreur who spoke on the Transfer Talk podcast, the deal has a deadline to follow. It is understood that the winger is keen for a resolution to be reached before he joins up with his Belgium teammates for the summer's international action.
"Real are wanting to make the final push after the Europa League final. I think the jigsaw pieces might fall into place in that short period after the Europa League final.

"So, there's a bit of a deadline, but there's some space to do the deal."
