The 2018 World Cup top scorer will also miss his side's Champions League home leg against Dortmund.

The loss to Manchester United wasn't just the end of troubles for Tottenham, as an injury to star striker Harry Kane was the final nail in the coffin. The Englishman will be out of action for atleast a month, due to a swelling around his injured ankle.

The 25-year-old limped off in Wembley in his side's recent loss to United. Currently, according to The Guardian, the area around his injury is too swollen up for Spurs to examine it.

The 2018 World Cup top scorer has had similar ankle problems in the past. In 2016, he missed seven weeks of action, and now he could be out for atleast a month. To top it all, Spurs have some crucial fixtures coming up and could well be without their talisman.

The fixtures he could miss are:

Fulham Vs Tottenham

Chelsea Vs Tottenham

Crystal Palace Vs Tottenham

Tottenham Vs Watford

Tottenham Vs Newcastle

Tottenham Vs Leicester

Tottenham Vs Borussia Dortmund

Team captain Hugo Lloris told The Guardian, "We all know how important Harry is in our team but he is not all of our team. Football is about the team and every player is ready to help the team. In football during the season you have ups and downs and you have to always adapt to those, and we will see about ‘H’".

The French World Cup winner further added, "It is better when you have all your best players on the field but that can happen here or it can happen at other clubs. With or without him we will see how we do." These are testing times for the Premier League outfit, who are aiming for a good finish in this season, but Kane's injury could hamper such dreams.
