Javier Zanetti: Ronaldo's right foot is the best
The former Argentinian defender represented Inter for 19 seasons.
Ahead of Inter Milan's crucial Champion League group stage match against Dortmund, President Javier Zanetti spoke to Inter TV on various topics starting with his time at the club as a player.
Zanetti shared his experiences with the Nerazzurri describing the scenes when they won the Champions League. He said, “I had many unforgettable moments. Inter is my family, I had those feelings right away. I also had many difficult moments, then the moment we all awaited for came [when we won the Champions League]. I was happy to raise every trophy and share it with the fans. Many fans have tattoos of me and even asked me to sign it.”

"My secret? I never stop, just like when I was on the pitch. I keep training, it’s a passion that is part of me. I train, I feel good and I enjoy myself.”
Zanetti then opined about the usage of technology in football, he said, "It is increasingly important. If it is a tool that helps, so be it."
The Nerazzurri president was then made to chose between two of his former teammates. At first, he had choices between Alvaro Recoba and Adriano.
“I would pick Recoba, He had incredible quality. Seeing him in training as he played in matches was really nice to see. Ronaldo or Diego Milito? Ronaldo’s right foot. He was the best player I played with. What he did in those two years was very important for us, he raised the level in Italy.

“It will be an important but difficult match as Borussia have a great experience. I am confident though as I see the team working well with the coach in an important way. Conte has helped the team grow, he has made an important mark on Inter."
“The guys know what they are doing, they know they are doing great things and these kinds of matches increase character. They are ready to play a great game.”
While we gear up for a feisty clash between the two sides, there will be absentees for both the clubs. Marco Reus, Paco Alcacer and Marcel Schmelzer are all set to miss this fixture for Lucien Favre's side.
In the Meanwhile Inter midfielder, Matias Vecino will undergo tests assessing his muscular fatigue. If things go well he will make it to the bench otherwise Antonio Conte will have to look at other options in his team.
