The former Red Devils forward joined Inter for €65m.
The Belgian forward ended his two-year stay at Old Trafford when he pushed to go to Inter to unite with Antonio Conte. But during the last season, he was often criticised for being a one-dimensional player according to the fans. He lost his place to Marcus Rashford under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer by the end of last season.
The Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has taken a dig at his former club, Manchester United’s fans stating that he was wrongly targeted and further said that they have a tendency to blame players like him, Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez.
“They have to find somebody,” Lukaku told the LightHarted Podcast. “It is Pogba, it is me or it is Alexis. It’s the three of us all the time.

“They have got to find somebody to blame. I put my hand up, like, this year I don’t think I was the only one playing bad. A lot of people were playing bad but they had to find the culprit.
“If they want to put the blame on me, you know what, f*** it, do what you gotta do.
“I think the team has so much potential to do some great stuff. There is a lot of talent. But it is not only talent; you really have to build a team.”
