Bayern Munich on Wednesday announced on Twitter that their beloved Mats Hummels is leaving his former club, Borussia Dortmund. The official statement read, "Mats Hummels is set to return to Borussia Dortmund. FC Bayern and BVB agreed to a deal for the transfer of the centre-back for an undisclosed fee on Wednesday. The 30-year-old previously played for Dortmund between 2008 and 2016. The move is subject to Hummels’ completion of a medical."

The German has only played for two clubs in his career. He joined Bayern in 1995 at the age of six and rose up through the ranks to finally make a debut for them in 2007.

Manchester United are willing to do all it would take to keep the French world cup winner Paul Pogba at Old Trafford. The word is that the French player is to be offered a new contract by the Red Devils to appease him to stay.

The new contract offered will make him the highest paid player of the Premier League, the Daily Mail reports. The £500,000-a-week contract would see him earn in the same brackets as the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Belgian manager Roberto Martinez has come out in public to advise his national team and Manchester United player to leave the club for Inter Milan.

The former Everton player has fallen down the pecking orders of Solksjaer and is wanted by Antonio Conte at Inter Milan. The move would though need Inter to pay £75m to United as the remuneration.

The two have identified Sampdoria's Danish defender Joachim Andersen as an option. But the £31.2m valuation of the defender is seen as a setback for Arsenal with their total budget somewhere near to the valuation of the defender. Tottenham though would be keen to get Andersen by paying the price.

Jonathan Barnett, the agent of Gareth Bale, has declared that the player won't be moving out of Madrid on a loan deal. The agent further stated that the Welsh winger is happy with his life at Real Madrid and wishes to see out the contract unless he has a good offer from some other club.

Jonathan Barnett said: "A loan move is not going to happen.

"I don't think he wants to go out on loan, he's got a lovely life and home in Spain. "I think it would take something exceptional for him to leave and loans are not on the menu.
