The tournament will have 12 different host cities across Europe as a tribute on its 60th anniversary.

One of the biggest international footballing competitions in the world, the UEFA Euro, will take place in June 2020. The draw for the quadrennial tournament was held in Bucharest on 30th of November. As we have come to expect, the draw threw up a few highly exciting fixtures in the Group stages. We at Khel Now, bring you a list of the top five matches to look forward to. 5. Italy vs Wales - 21st June 2020

Ryan Giggs’ men enjoyed a very successful qualifying campaign, in which they went unbeaten. The Welsh squad was drawn into Group A along with Italy. The Italians have seen a resurgence of sorts under Roberto Mancini that has been reflected in their performances in the group stage. Mancini’s men too went undefeated in qualifiers, with a couple of romping results on the way. The clash between the two teams is sure to be a spectacle to behold.

4. Portugal vs France - 24th June 2020

The reigning Euro Champions and the reigning World Champions will face off in a giant clash in Group F of the competition, in what will be a repeat of the 2016 Euro Final. Both teams were dominant in qualifying and have the firepower in their squads to make for a very exciting game of football. 3. England vs Croatia - 14th June 2020

Yet another replay of a famous fixture, England and Croatia will be a clash between two of the highest-profile teams in the tournament. The match will be particularly crucial for Gareth Southgate and his young England squad who will be itching for a chance to get revenge for their World Cup semi-final loss at the hands of Croatia.

2. Portugal vs Germany - 20th June 2020

The likes of Serge Gnabry and Leon Goretzka have seen a new look Germany side become one of real potency and danger as evidenced by their 6-1 win over Northern Ireland in the final game of the qualifiers. The Germans will face off against a Cristiano Ronaldo led Portugal who are no slouches themselves. The game in the Group of Death is sure to be one that is hotly contested. 1. France vs Germany - 24th June 2020

France will take on Germany in what will be a clash of two of the world’s most renowned footballing sides in Group F of the competition. It will be a battle between the young German upstarts against the settled quality of a World Cup-winning French side. The game could potentially be instrumental in the young careers of the Germans, who, should they win, would go down in history as the team that took down one of the strongest French sides in recent history.
