Doha ISSF Shotgun World Cup 2023: India's squad, schedule, results & telecast details
The lone Paris Olympics 2023 berth winner from the country will participate in the tournament.
The ISSF Shotgun World Cup 2023 Doha will be from 04 to 13 March 2023. Over 450 shooters from 63 countries will vie for top honours at the Lusail Shooting Complex. Qatar Shooting & Archery Association and International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) organised the tournament. The 2023 season will hold 12 World Cups across pistol/rifle and shotgun. This will be the second shotgun World Cup with the first one being in January in Rabat.
Who are Indians participating in Doha ISSF Shotgun World Cup 2023?
Men’s Trap: Prithviraj Tondaiman, Zoravar Singh Sandhu, Bhowneesh Mendiratta
Women’s Trap: Shreyasi Singh, Preeti Rajak, Rajeshwari Kumari.
Men’s Skeet: Mairaj Ahmad Khan, Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Gurjoat Khangura
Women’s Skeet: Ganemat Sekhon, Maheshwari Chauhan, Darshna Rathore.
Bhowmeesh Mendiratta became the first Indian to secure a quota for the 2024 Paris Olympics. He finished a credible fourth in the 2022 World Championships in Croatia. 47-year-old Mairaj Ahmed Khan will lead the Indian contingent in the skeet category.
