2. Pete Sampras
The American star is a former World No. 1 and never lost in the finals of Wimbledon. His high reputation made him one of the most lethal tennis players of all-time. He won the title three times in a row and then again four times straight.
With this record, he bagged seven titles at the All England Club. He was also known as the best tennis player of the decade for his unbeatable streaks of winning these titles.
3. Novak Djokovic
The 35-year-old tennis star is a Serbian professional tennis player. He is currently placed at No. 3 in the world rankings. He has claimed this title six times and also was World No. 1 for a record of 373 weeks.
Djokovic is considered one of the best male tennis players in the era of the 2010s. A famous bout was when he came into the Wimbledon 2019 final, where the match went to five sets and he beat Federer 13-12 in the decider.
4. Björn Borg
The Swedish professional tennis player had set his marks between 1974 to 1981. He was the first one to win 11 grand slam titles. His epic battle in the Wimbledon final with John McEnroe in 1980 was a remarkable match where, he defeated the American. He claimed this title five times straight. He dominated the Wimbledon finals from 1976 to 1980.
5. Rod Laver
Rodney George Laver AC MBE is an Australian former tennis player. He won this title four times. He is the only player in history to win the title both as a pro and amateur.
