When and where will Los Angeles Olympics 2028 take place?

The LA Olympics 2028 will be an event with sport and innovation.
The preparations have already started for Los Angeles Olympics 2028. With the Paris Olympics 2024 coming to an end, the next four years will see athletes working towards LA Olympics 2028. Fans will also be eager to see the athletes breaking records and giving their best for the ultimate gold in the quadrennial event.
The LA Olympics will be held in Los Angeles, United States of America. The city had won the bidding for games in 2017 and will be hosting the games for the third time. It will be the first time since the 1996 Atlanta Olympics that the games will happen in the United States of America.
Los Angeles had hosted the games for the first time in 1932 and then in 1984. After 34 years the summer games will once again return to Los Angeles.
When will Los Angeles Olympics 2028 take place?
Dates have already been announced for the LA Olympics 2028. It will be held for over two weeks starting from July 14 and will conclude on July 30, 2028. The opening ceremony will be held on July 14.
Who are all part of Los Angeles Olympics 2028 board of directors?
Fans can expect global artists to perform and also former American athletes to join the celebration. Former sprinter, Carl Lewis is present on the volunteer board of directors. He had won 4 gold medals when Los Angeles had last hosted the games in 1984. Lewis won gold in men’s 100m, 200m, long jump and 4x100m relay.

Former 400m and 200m world record holder and Olympic champion, Michael Johnson is also on the board of directors. Johnson had set the 200m world record of 19.32 secs at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996.
Katie Ledecky is one of the active athletes who is on the volunteer board of directors for the LA Olympics 2028. Ledecky has won 14 medals including nine gold at the Olympics. She will be eager to compete at home for the first time.

There will be over 22 venues which will be used during the LA Olympics 2028. The LA memorial coliseum will be used for the third time in the summer games. It is set to be the first stadium to host three opening ceremonies of the Olympics.
