The Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony will be held at Stade de France on August 11.
The Paris Olympics 2024 are hoping to end with a glorious celebration. The closing ceremony will mark the end of the Games as well as welcome the next host city. It is an occasion to celebrate the success of Paris Olympics 2024, as the city witnessed athletes breaking records and sharing their victories together.
The Paris Olympics 2024 also witnessed many sportsmanship moments and the athletes now will walk out for the last time with their compatriots by their side at Stade de France. The closing ceremony will be held at the national stadium of France on August 11. The audience will again have high expectations during the closing ceremony which will begin at 9pm local time and August 12 12:30am IST.
Who will be leading & performing at Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony?
The Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony will be directed by Thomas Jolly. The artistic director had also presented the opening ceremony and has named the closing ceremony as ‘records.’ He said, ‘Together, let’s make this evening a memorable and conscious celebration, honouring the past and embracing the future.’
While the opening ceremony was at River Seines as it gave way to new traditions. But, the closing ceremony will continue to be held at a stadium. The closing ceremony will begin with the parade. The flag-bearers of their respective nations will lead the contingents and as per tradition Greece will be leading the procession.

Jimmy Fallon and Mike Tirico will be co-hosting the event. The audience will also witness more than 100 artists on the stage with respective routines. There will be acrobats, dancers and singers from various countries performing on stage.
The Paris Olympics 2024 will officially come to an end once the flame is extinguished. Before that, there will be a preview of the next Summer Olympics. The 2028 Olympics will be held in Los Angeles.
The Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo will pass on the Olympic flag to International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach, who will then give it to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.
