The Paris Olympics 2024 opening ceremony will see over 3000 artists celebrating the cultures of France. The opening ceremony will be watched by over 1.5 billion people worldwide. The fans as well as athletes will get to witness different majestic views around Paris.
The Paris Summer Games will see the 26-member Malaysian contingent seeking an historic gold. They have been to the podium but not on top of it so far.
The Malaysian contingent has 13 male and 13 female athletes. Their contingent will be led by flag-bearers, Bertrand Rhodict Lises and Nur Shazrin Mohamad Latif. Teenager, Lises will be making her Olympic debut at Paris.
The Malaysian badminton squad will see participation in men’s and women’s singles, mixed doubles and doubles. The Malaysian fans will root for their athletes at Paris and through online streams.

The opening ceremony will see the athletes in a 6km parade starting from the Austerlitz bridge till the Trocadero. All the athletes will be on boats while watching the performances and the iconic views around Paris. There will be over 100 boats fitted with cameras as fans will get to relish every moment of the Games.
