Rihanna's Fenty Beauty becomes premium partner of Paris Olympics 2024

The word ‘Fenty’ is derived from the singer’s full name, Robyn Rihanna Fenty.

Pop star and businesswoman Rihanna has announced that his cosmetic brand Fenty Beauty is the premium partner of Paris Olympics 2024 and Paralympics.

Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty on September 8, 2017. The famous singer is the founder, CEO and owner of the business. Meanwhile, American fashion designer Jahleel Weaver is the creative director of the cosmetic brand. The word ‘Fenty’ is derived from the singer’s full name, Robyn Rihanna Fenty.

After just a few months of the launch, Fenty Beauty products started gaining international praise for the range of shades offered, especially for darker skin tones, which several cosmetic companies often overlooked. In 2022, American singer and songwriter Madison Beer became the brand ambassador for Rihanna’s cosmetic brand.

The likes of Madison Bailey, Kane Lim, and Nikita Chepchumba Kering have been the brand ambassadors of Fenty Beauty already. Earlier this year, the Barbadian singer and businesswoman announced that she would launch her products in China.

Nevertheless, talking about the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024, Fenty Beauty has penned a partnership contract with the sporting megafest. As per the partnership, Fenty Beauty will provide makeup kits to 600 volunteers aged 18 to 21 years old who will be awarding medals to the Olympic and Paralympic athletes. In addition to that, their outfits will be designed by Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH).

Making the announcement, Rihanna took to social media and wrote, “tried to tell yall….we outside all 2024!!! PROUD to announce that @FentyBeauty is a premium partner of the Olympic AND Paralympic Games baby!!!#FentyxParis2024.”

The opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics will take place on July 26. With that, the Paris Games will get underway. Meanwhile, the 2024 Paralympics are scheduled from 28 August to 8 September 2024 in the French capital.
