The USA contingent will start competing from July 24 and will be in action till August 11 at Paris.
The Paris Olympics 2024 will be the 33rd edition of the summer games. It will be the third time that Paris is hosting the Olympics, after 1900 and 1924.
There will be 10,500 athletes from 206 National Olympic Committees taking part in 329 events in the course of 17 days at Paris Olympics 2024. There will be 45 sports disciplines which will be held at the summer games this time.
Team USA has so far won 1065 gold medals and 2638 total medals at the summer Olympic games. The USA will be competing in the Olympics for the 29th time. They are leading the games in terms of overall medals.
At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the USA finished on top of the medal tally with 113 medals. They were the only nation to breach the triple digit mark in the medal tally at Tokyo. Similar results will be expected from the USA contingent at Paris Olympics 2024.

Where and when will Paris Olympics 2024 take place?
The 2024 Paris summer games will take place around the city of Paris in various locations. The events will be held in 35 venues around Paris, Ile-de-region and other parts spread around France.
The opening ceremony will be held at river Seines on July 26. Events will begin from July 24 and end on August 11.
How many athletes will represent Team USA at Paris Olympics 2024?
There will be 592 athletes in the USA contingent who will be competing at Paris Olympics 2024. Of the 592 athletes, 340 of them will be making their debut at the summer games.
