Paris Paralympics 2024: Updated India schedule for Day 3, August 31
India has a chance to win more than six medals on Day 3.
Team India will look to build on its strong start at the Paris Paralympics 2024, aiming to add to its four-medal haul from Day 2 as competition continues on Day 3 (August 31).
Six medals will be up for grabs on Day 3 across four sports: para shooting, para archery, para athletics, and para cycling. India has strong medal prospects in multiple events, particularly in para archery.
Sheetal Devi, known as the “armless archer,” is a top contender for a medal. Her teammate Sarita is also considered a strong medal prospect in para archery.
In para shooting, Swaroop and Rubina will look to improve on their near-miss performances from the Tokyo Paralympics. Both finished just outside the medal-round in their previous attempt, with Swaroop placing fourth and Rubina seventh.
