World Archery Para Championships 2025: Updated schedule, fixtures, result & live streaming details

Harvinder Singh, Sheetal Devi will lead Indian contingent at the World Archery Para Championships 2025.
The World Archery Para Championships 2025 will be held in Gwangju, Republic of Korea, from September 22 to 28, with finals taking place at the 5.18 Democracy Square arena.
India will field a strong team, featuring the reigning Paralympic recurve gold medalist and world No. 1 Harvinder Singh, world no.2 Rakesh Kumar in compound men.
Ahead of the his campiagn in South Korea, Harvinder told World Archery,“On match day, a lot depends on your thoughts, your mood, even the first person you talk to, and how settled your mind is.
Staying mentally strong will always be the key to success,” he said. Will Harvinder bring his mental A-game to Korea? We’ll find out soon enough.”
In women’s events the 2022 World Archery Para Championships silver medallist Pooja Khanna and India’s young sensation and Paris Paralympics bronze medalist Sheetal Devi will represent India.
All eyes will be on the 18-year-old armless archer, who is regarded as the most inspirational successor to the legendary Matt Stutzman. She is currently ranked 6th in the world.
At the recently concluded World Archery Championships 2025 in Gwangju India won a total of only two medals both in the compound category: Gold medal in Compound Men’s Team and Silver in Compound Mixed Team.

This time, the tournament will feature a total of 239 archers from 47 countries in across six Paralympic categories and two visually impaired (VI) divisions. There wil be 15 world titles at stakes across all three: recurve, compound, and W1 events in individual, doubles, and mixed team formats.
The visually impaired categories (VI 1 and VI 2/3) will feature 18 athletes from 17 countries, with no gender separation.
