Karnataka names players that will represent state at 4th IPA National Pickleball Tournament

The state has named a six-member contingent for the pickleball tournament.
Go Rally successfully conducted Bengaluru Masters the regional qualifying round at GoRally Arena in Indiranagar, Bengaluru, witnessing participation from over 400 players across various categories. Competitors showcased their skills in Pro and Intermediate divisions, singles, doubles, mixed doubles, and multiple age groups. This overwhelming turnout highlights the rapid growth and enthusiasm for pickleball in Karnataka.
Following the intense competition, Karnataka Pickleball Association (KPA), the official governing body for pickleball in the state and an affiliated member of the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), selected six top players to represent the state at the 4th IPA National Pickleball Tournament in Noida.
The selection process was based on their performance and DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) scores, ensuring that the state fields its finest talent at the national level.

- Team Doubles Event: Gowtham R and Ranjit Kupli
- Open Team Singles Event: Shaun Laporte
- Open Singles Event: Gowtham R, Ranjit Kupli, and Shaun Laporte
- Open Doubles Event: Gowtham R and Ranjit Kupli, Shaun Laporte and Harsh Pancholi, Aditya Marc and Avilay Jha
- 35+ Singles Category: Avilay Jha
To celebrate this milestone, KPA organized a felicitation ceremony to honor the selected players for their outstanding performance. Pro players from across Karnataka were also recognized for their contributions, reinforcing KPA’s commitment to building a strong and competitive pickleball ecosystem in the state.
Shree Harsha, the President of KPA, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are thrilled to have selected the best talent from Karnataka at the Bengaluru Masters, conducted by the GoRally team. This event served as a qualifier for the 4th IPA Nationals, a PWR700 (Pickleball World Rankings) tournament. It is a fantastic opportunity for players from the state to showcase their talent on the national stage.”
