From power-packed rallies to breakout stars, the Bengaluru leg of the Picklebay India Tour showcased the rising popularity of pickleball across India.

The Picklebay India Tour 2025 served up another unforgettable chapter as the Bengaluru leg wrapped with explosive rallies, edge-of-the-seat finishes, and standout performances at GoRally, Whitefield on June 28–29. With over 300 registrations from Players across India battling it out for a ₹2.5 lakh prize pool, the sold-out event proved once again that pickleball is India’s sport to watch.

From seasoned national champions to spirited first-timers, the energy was electric across every category. The tournament featured intense matches across Men’s and Women’s Singles and Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and 35+ events — with packed crowds cheering on their favourites till the final point.

In the Men’s Open Singles, Monil Lotlikar clinched the crown with a dominant 15–4 win over Shaun Laporte, taking home ₹12,000. Rithika delivered a gritty performance in the Women’s Open Singles, edging out Kamini 15–11 in a high-tempo final to win ₹10,000.

The Mixed Doubles Open Final was the showstopper of the weekend — a fierce rally-for-rally contest that ended with Sonam Bali and Gowtham R triumphing over Anish and Rithika in a razor-thin 15–14 finish.

India No.12 Vinay Sethia from Kolkata brought seasoned power to the court, sweeping the 35+ Men’s Singles final with a perfect 15–0 win over Tshering Wangdi Yolmo — a display of precision and poise. He also won Gold in 35+ Mixed

Doubles alongside hispartner Shilpa Sham and Silver in 35+ Men’s Doubles with his partner Sudarshan Jagnani.

  • Women’s Open Doubles: Rithika (doubling up on wins) partnered with Sai Samhita for the title.
  • 35+ Men’s Doubles: Saravanan Chandrasekar and Rohit Ahuja from Chennai emerged champions, showcasing flair and chemistry.
  • Intermediate Singles & Doubles: Ronin Lotlikar and the duo of Sonam Bali–Deekshitha Raviprasad claimed titles, earning kudos for their spirited play.

Across all categories, semi-finalists walked away with ₹2,500 each, affirming Picklebay’s mission to support and spotlight talent at every level — not just the winners’ podium.

“Bengaluru brought incredible energy, skill, and sportsmanship to the Picklebay India Tour,” said Siddhant Jatia, Founder & CEO, Picklebay. “To witness top-ranked players and emerging talents battle it out with equal passion is a powerful reminder of the movement we’re building across India.”

With Mumbai and Bengaluru now in the books, the Picklebay India Tour rolls on to Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Pune, Chennai, and Surat — on a mission to redefine how India plays, celebrates, and champions the sport of pickleball.
