Ravi Kumar was snapped up by the Delhi Dynamos in the 2015 ISL player drafts. At the age of 17, he signed for Pailan Arrows (called AIFF XI then) and two years later made his professional debut for the club against Salgaocar. He impressed in his debut match by not conceding a goal thus helping his team to draw the match. Subsequently, he transferred to Sporting Clube de Goa, becoming a regular for the Flaming Oranje. He was a part of the squad that failed at the final hurdle of the Federation Cup of 2013-14 losing to Churchill Brothers. On the way, they defeated heavyweights Bengaluru FC and East Bengal. Doubtless, he will be eager to impress this season with NorthEast United FC.
