One of the youngest players to ever sign a professional contract with the Golden Eagles, aged just 17, Sahil Tavora has since gone on to become a familiar name in his home state. A product of the Brazilian Football Academy in Goa, he attended a training camp with Liverpool FC in 2007 and another at a second division club in Brazil. His spectacular solo goal for Goa-India against Macau in the 2014 Lusofonia Games remains a highlight of his still relatively nascent career. Having played for Dempo SC, the flamboyant midfielder scored twice for the Gaurs in Hero ISL 2016. This year he would want to make more of an impact with Mumbai City FC.
