The 13th edition of TNA Genesis is set for January 19

The Nashville-based promotion is set to deliver the 13th edition of Genesis this week. The 2025 edition of the PPV will take place on January 19, 2025, at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. This will be the first Genesis event since 2021.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) has announced a total of eight matches on the PPV including five title clashes. The promotion has also teased the presence of WWE NXT at the event by releasing a promo video ahead of the event which featured the NXT logo.

WWE recently announced a multi-year partnership with TNA Wrestling continuing the working relations between the two promotions. The teases likely hint at the involvement of NXT stars in the event and at further TNA shows and events.

 Let us now take a look at the confirmed match card and segments for the 13th edition of Genesis which emanates from the Curtis Culwell Center.

  • Nic Nemeth (c) vs Joe Hendry – TNA World Championship Match
  • The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) (c) vs The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) – TNA World Tag Team Championship Match
  • Masha Slamovich (c) vs Rosemary – Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match for the TNA Knockouts Championship
  • Moose (c) vs Ace Austin – TNA X-Division Championship Match
  • Spitfire (Jody Threat & Dani Luna) (c) vs Ash By Elegance & Heather By Elegance – TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship Match

Nic Nemeth (c) vs Joe Hendry – TNA World Championship Match

The current TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth is set to defend his title against Joe Hendry in the 2025 edition. The title clash was set when Hendry secured the No. 1 contender’s spot at TNA Final Resolution.

The two stars met face-to-face ahead of their clash during this week’s episode of TNA iMPACT. Ryan Nemeth interfered during the segment which led to Hendry’s attack. The attack forced Nemeth’s hand as he took out Joe with a Superkick.

The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) (c) vs The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) – TNA World Tag Team Championship Match

TNA World Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy will defend their title against the team of Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz (The Rascalz) in an exciting tag team contest this Sunday.

Masha Slamovich (c) vs Rosemary – Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match for the TNA Knockouts Championship

TNA Knockout Champion Masha Slamovich will lock horns with Canadian star Rosemary in a Clockwork Orange House of Fun match. Masha’s title is on the line for the clash in Texas.

Moose (c) vs Ace Austin – TNA X-Division Championship Match

TNA X-Division Champion Moose will defend the coveted title against Ace Austin in the 2025 edition of Genesis. The clash of styles which kicked off with a heated interaction and some trash talk will culminate in their title match.

Spitfire (Jody Threat & Dani Luna) (c) vs Ash By Elegance & Heather By Elegance – TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship Match

TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions Jody Threat and Dani Luna (Spitfire) will defend their title against the team of Ash By Elegance and Heather By Elegance.

Tessa Blanchard vs Jordynne Grace

Former Impact World Champion and Impact Knockouts Champion Tessa Blanchard will lock horns with Jordynne Grace in a grudge match this Sunday.

Josh Alexander vs Mike Santana

Following weeks of confrontations, Josh Alexander and Mike Santana will battle inside the squared ring in a powerful showcase of skills.

Frankie Kazarian vs Leon Slater – Pre-show

During the Countdown pre-show of the 2025 edition of TNA Genesis, pro wrestling phenom Frankie Kazarian will face rising star Leon Slater.
