TNA Impact returns this Thursday for the April 2 episode, and the road to Rebellion has officially begun. TNA Sacrifice delivered a night full of drama on March 27 at the Alario Center in Westwego, Louisiana, and the fallout is already reshaping every major storyline heading into Thursday’s show.
The biggest story coming out of Sacrifice is the TNA World Championship situation. In the main event, Mike Santana versus Steve Maclin ended in a no-contest after Maclin was legitimately knocked out during the match, leaving the world title picture unresolved and wide open.
Meanwhile, Arianna Grace survived a brutal three-way war with Lei Ying Lee and Dani Luna to retain the TNA Knockouts World Championship, but she did it the dirty way, with Stacks pulling Lee out of the ring to let Grace steal the pin. Santino Marella immediately made the next title match, announcing that Grace will defend against Xia Brookside on this Thursday’s Impact.

Brookside saw everything that happened from ringside, and when she stepped up to confront Stacks, Grace blindsided her from behind, drawing an enormous reaction from the crowd.

Backstage after Sacrifice, he announced that NXT’s Arianna Grace would put the Knockouts World Championship on the line against Xia Brookside this Thursday on Impact. For Brookside, this is a dream opportunity. The British star has been one of the most consistent performers in the Knockouts division since her arrival, and she now has a one-on-one chance at the title that no outside interference can take from her.
Grace, flanked by Stacks, is notoriously difficult to beat clean, which is exactly why she keeps finding ways to retain the title.
