  • The final of the men's team 50m Rifle 3 Positions got cancelled due to the refusal of the Hungarian team.
  • The trio of Anjum Moudgil, Shreya Saksena and Gaayathri Nithyanadam settled for a silver medal in the women's 50m rifle 3 positions team event after losing in the final to the Polish team. Read more
  • Manu Bhaker, Rahi Sarnobat and Chinki Yadav won the only gold medal of the day for India in the women's 25m Pistol team event. They defeated the Polish team to clinch the glory.
  • Overall, India won one Gold and one Silver on Day 6.

The Indian women shooters made the nation proud by doing a clean sweep of medals in the 25m Pistol event. In a thrilling finale that went into a shoot-off after the scores were tied, Chinki Yadav clinched gold over Rahi Saranobat while Manu Bhaker had to settle for bronze. Meanwhile, In the men’s 50m Rifle 3 positions, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar clinched the gold medal for India.

The ISSF WORLD CUP 2021 is taking place at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi. Athletes from around the world have gathered in the national capital to pit their wits against each other. Further, a number of ranking points for the Tokyo Olympics are also up for grabs, meaning that the competition in the ISSF WORLD CUP will be even more fierce.

Day 6 will see some of the best competitors in action with a series of finals lined up in different events. The schedule of the various finals is as follows:

  • 11:00 Final 50m Rifle 3 Positions -Team Men
  • 12:45 Final 50m Rifle 3 Positions -Team Women
  • 16:30 Final 25m Pistol - Team Women
