According to recent speculations, Timothée Chalamet will play the main role in Cristiano Ronaldo’s upcoming biopic, while Andrew Garfield will play Lionel Messi, although it isn’t actually true.
According to the excerpt from a Letterboxd page that @AbhayCuts posted on X (formerly Twitter), Michael Mann was the director of this biopic, which was supposed to be called Ronaldo and scheduled for release in 2028. Along with Vincent Cassel, it also had Ana de Armas as Georgina Rodriguez, who is CR7’s partner.

According to a statement from the studios, the emphasis would be on “embracing innovative technology, with a nod to tradition.”
