The upcoming edition of the Squash World Cup 2025 will feature 12 teams competing across six days between December 9 to 14. The Express Avenue Mall and Indian Squash Academy in Chennai will host the matches.
Hong Kong, South Korea, South Africa, Iran, Malaysia, Egypt, India, Australia, Poland, Japan, and Switzerland are the 12 competing nations. Each team will play two group stage matches, and the top two teams at the end of the league matches will qualify for the quarter-finals.
Teams have been split into four pools of three teams each as they battle it out for the title. Pool A features Hong Kong, China, alongside South Africa and the Republic of Korea.
Hosts India headline Pool B, where they will be up against Brazil and Switzerland. Pool C brings together Malaysia, Australia, and Poland, while defending champions Egypt are placed in Pool D along with Japan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The knockout stage will include four quarter-finals, two semi-finals, and a final. Egypt head into the tournament as defending champions and are the most successful nation with two titles.
They won both their titles at the Express Avenue Mall in Chennai. Meanwhile, Australia and England have won the Squash World Cup once each.
