After making its return last year, Macao, China will host the ITTF World Cup 2025 from April 14 to 20. The ITTF Singles World Cup 2025 is set to take place at the prestigious Galaxy Arena in Macao. Top table tennis players will battle for the prestigious Evans Cup in the men’s tournament and Hammarlund Cup in the women’s tournament.

The tournament has 48 paddlers in both the men’s and women’s singles categories, representing various nations from around the world. Each category has been divided into 16 groups, each with three paddlers.

What is the format of ITTF World Cup 2025?

The 48 paddlers will be divided into 16 groups. Each group will have three paddlers each. The top player from each group will qualify for the knockouts (Round of 16).
