WTT Star Contender Doha 2024: Full schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details

Veteran Sharath Kamal and youngster Yashaswini Ghorpade has received wildcard entry.
The second event of the 2024 season of table tennis, the WTT Star Contender Doha 2024 will commence in Qatar. It is considered one of the most prestigious tournaments in the entire calendar year of table tennis. It is originally slotted in from 8 January and will continue up to 13 January. This time the tournament will take place in the majestic Lusail Sports Arena, Doha, Qatar.
Currently, six players have been given the host wild cards. Out of all of them, the most prominent name amongst the wild card entries is that of Timo Boll, a table tennis icon and former World No. 1 of Germany. Alongside Timo, India’s most seasoned table tennis star Achanta Sharath Kamal also got a wild card ticket. Kamal has been in some phenomenal form recently. In 2022, the Indian stalwart enjoyed an impressive run to the semifinals, his best performance in the WTT Series to date.
The other names who received the host wild card are Mohammed Abdulwahhab, Aia Mohamed, Kim Nayeong and Audrey Zarif. India Yashaswini Ghorpade also received the main draw wild card.
