All you need to know about Season 4 of Pro Tennis League

The tournament will begin from December 1 to December 5.
Pro Tennis League season 4 is set to begin from December 1-5, 2022 at the RK Khanna Tennis Stadium in New Delhi. A total of eight teams are set to participate with new teams added in this edition (DMG Delhi Crusaders, Lucknow Aviators, Pro Veri Supersmashers, Gurgaon Smashers, Sankara, Bangalore Challengers, Paramount Tigers, Stag Babolat Yoddhas). India’s top players Ramkumar Ramanathan and Yuki Bhambri will be taking part along with some prominent youngsters. December 5 is set to be marked as a reserve day.

Format
The points format is totally different from the normal tennis played.
Men’s Singles 1 - 20 points
Men’s doubles 1 - 20 points
NextGen Women’s singles - 15 points
Women’s singles - 20 points
Women’s doubles - 15 points
Mixed doubles - 15 points
Men’s doubles 2 - 20 points
Men’s singles 2 - 30 points
Men’s doubles 3 - 30 points
A single match consists of a total of 185 points and the winner is decided by the points difference.

Players to Watch
In the men’s section, India’s current singles number two Ramkumar Ramanathan along with former junior World No. 1 Yuki Bhambri will be taking part. Yuki Bhambri along with Saketh Myneni had a great 2022 season reaching the top 100 in the ATP doubles rankings with Sriram Balaji and Jeevan Neduchezhiyan who have multiple ATP challengers too are taking part. Promising stars in the women’s section Riya Bhatia and Sowjanya Bavisetti will be competing in the four-day event.
