Vihaan Reddy living in San Jose, California, USA is an Indian Prodigy. He is currently 13 years old and is ranked No 1 in the world in the U14 Boys Singles Category. He started playing tennis at the age of 5.

Vihaan's parents (Basannagouda Reddy and Roopavathi Patil) are Software engineers in San Jose, California. Vihaan moved to the USA when he was 4 years old.

He is currently focussing on both academics as well as tennis. He was seeded 2 in the Wimbledon 2023 U14 Boys Singles Championships. He lost his opening match of the Group stage but won the next 2 games to qualify for the Semifinal. Battling a wrist injury he lost in the Semifinal to Svit Sujic of Slovenia (1-6,3-6).

He is a right-handed player and took's everyone attention after winning five tennis titles in four weeks of ITF under 18 tournaments. He was undefeated in 21 straight Matches. He is a Roger Federer fan and plays a two-handed backhand.

Strengths

Vihan's Major strength is his consistency. He is quick around the court. This is a major advantage for Vihan. He also loves to attack. With this style, he has been successful in the U14 Section.

Weakness

He is not so strong physically. The Problem with him is that if he attacks more he will be physically drained. His stamina is not up to the mark. He has noticed this in many competitions. He couldn't maintain his fitness in the match.

Improvements Needed

The major improvement is that he needs to focus on his physical fitness. He lacks the stamina to play long matches. The key aspect is to maintain endurance so that he can play long matches and go deep into the tournaments.
