Prediction

With the exit of World No. 1 Iga Swiatek from the tournament, the spotlight has now shifted to Sabalenka. Her powerful serve and groundstrokes make her a formidable contender for the title. If she succeeds, she would be the first female champion from her country to clinch the title since Victoria Azarenka’s victory in 2013.

On the other hand, Krejcikova has had a challenging journey to the final eight, spending over eight hours on the court, which is more than double the time Sabalenka needed for her four straight-set victories. Adding to this, Krejcikova is also scheduled to play a doubles match before her encounter with Sabalenka, which could potentially lead to fatigue. Her recent performance has been inconsistent, with three consecutive early exits from events, indicating a struggle to maintain her Slam form.

The defending champion has showcased impressive first-strike play so far in the tournament. The No. 2 player, known for her stunning form, is anticipated to maintain her momentum in the upcoming matches.

Result: Sabalenka to win in straight sets.
