Alex de Minaur will make his Games debut at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Australian tennis star Alex de Minaur took to social media and uploaded pictures from his recent outing with his girlfriend, Katie Boulter.

Alex de Minaur last played at Wimbledon 2024, where he withdrew from the quarterfinals due to a hip injury. The Australian tennis star sustained a hip injury during his fourth-round match against France’s Arther Fils.

Minaur later revealed that he withdrew from the Grand Slam as a precaution because if he kept playing, the injury could be chronic. The 25-year-old started his clay season with a triumph as he defeated America’s Sebastian Korda in the final to win the 2024 Libema Open.

Alex de Minaur will make his Olympic debut in the French capital after he missed the 2020 Tokyo Games due to COVID-19.

However, before Paris Olympics 2024, the Australian tennis star is enjoying some time away from tennis. The Australian tennis star is currently in Capri, Italy.

De Minaur will represent Australia at Paris Olympics, while Katie Boulter will make her Games debut in Paris. The British tennis star recently revealed her reaction after learning about her selection for the Olympics. She said, “I got a phone call from the Head of Women’s Tennis (Iain Bates), and he called me to let me know that I was going to be in the team.”

Boulter further added, “I was walking down the street in Loughborough, and I screamed a little bit too loud, so a few people looked at me a little bit strange. I still remember it; it’s going to be a special moment. I’m looking forward to it and putting on the flag – it’s going to be so fun to be a part of.”
