Novak Djokovic is not the highest-paid tennis player in 2024.

The list of the top 10 highest-paid tennis players in 2024 includes four female stars and six male athletes. Exclusively released by Forbes, 2023 US Open champion and American tennis star Coco Gauff is currently the highest-paid female (overall third) tennis star with $20.1 million in her pockets.

The young American has 11 long-term partnerships, including American Eagle, Carol’s Daughter, Naked Brand juices, and more. After Coco Gauff, Iga Swiatek of Poland is in the fourth spot on the list. The five-time Grand Slam champion won bronze for her country at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and she received a bonus of $50,000 from Poland.

She has earned $11.7 million in prize money over the last 12 months. Meanwhile, her off-court earnings sum up to $15 million ($26.7 million overall). On the fifth spot, we have Jannik Sinner of Italy, who’s currently the ATP World No. 1.

The Italian tennis star was stripped of his prize money and points from the 2024 Indian Wells Masters after the recent doping controversy. Sinner tested positive for Clostebol in March during the 2024 Indian Wells Masters twice. However, despite missing the 2024 Paris Olympics, and the Italian Open and playing multiple tournaments due to hip issues, the 23-year-old has earned $26.6 million, including prize money and endorsements.

Sinner has endorsement deals with brands such as La Roche-Posay, De Cecco pasta, Gucci, Lavazza coffee, and Rolex. Talking about the top two, the second spot on the list is acquired by 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic. The 37-year-old won the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the men’s singles event, which earned him a bonus of $218,000 from Serbia.

Novak Djokovic has earned a total of $37.2 million, which includes endorsements with the likes of Asics, Head, Hublot, and Lacoste.

Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz is the highest-paid tennis player in 2024. The 21-year-old has made a mammoth sum of $42.3 million this year. Alcaraz has won two Grand Slam titles: the French Open and the Wimbledon Championships in 2024. In addition to that, he also won the silver medal in the men’s singles event at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

According to the aforementioned report, the young Spaniard had earned $10.3 million in court. Meanwhile, the other $32 million has come from his off-court endorsements and sponsorships. The four-time Grand Slam champion is set to earn more as Netflix will release a docu-series about him next year.
