Jannik Sinner is in the third round of the 2024 Canadian Open, while Anna Kalinskaya was forced to retire.

Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner and Russian tennis star Anna Kalinskaya have unfollowed each other on Instagram, just weeks after the couple was spotted on a vacation together in Sardinia, Italy.

As per multiple reports, Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya started dating each other in May. At the 2024 French Open, the Italian tennis star confirmed rumors of being in a relationship with Russia’s Anna Kalinskaya. The ATP World No. 1 also attended Kalinskaya’s matches at Roland Garros and Wimbledon.

Sinner said during the time, “I’m with Anna [Kalinskaya], yes, but we keep everything very confidential, you know my confidentiality… I won’t say more.”

Similarly, the Russian tennis star was also in Sinner’s box at the Grand Slam tournaments. Additionally, the couple also went on an exotic outing in Sardinia, Italy. However, as per multiple reports, the two have reportedly fallen out of love. Nevertheless, there has been no official confirmation about the topic.

Jannik Sinner is currently in Montreal, playing the 2024 Canadian Open. As the defending champion, Sinner defeated Croatia’s Borna Coric 6-2, 6-4. Next up, he will face 15th seed Alejandro Tabilo of Chile. The Italian has returned to play the Canadian Open after the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, where he lost against Daniil Medvedev in the quarterfinals.

Sinner withdrew from the 2024 Paris Olympics due to tonsillitis. Meanwhile, Anna Kalinskaya started her campaign with a straight-set win over Louisa Chirico. She later stunned Ukraine’s Lesia Tsurenko to win her match in Toronto and advanced to the pre-quarterfinals.
