'Thank you Andy' - Tennis fraternity salutes Andy Murray after his heartwarming centre court ceremony at Wimbledon 2024?

Andy Murray will play his last professional tournament at 2024 Paris Olympics.
Wimbledon organized a farewell ceremony for two-time champion Andy Murray on Thursday following his first-round defeat in men’s doubles.
The Scotsman had teamed up with his brother, Jamie Murray, to play at Wimbledon 2024 Championships in the men’s doubles event. However, the Murray brothers lost in straight sets against John Peers and Rinky Hijikata in the first round.
In the special ceremony, the likes of Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Iga Swiatek, Holger Rune, Jack Draper and several other tennis stars were invited. In addition to that, a heartwarming video that included glimpses from Nadal, Federer, Djokovic, and Venus Williams was also displayed at the Centre Court.
After the ceremony, numerous people from the tennis world reacted to Murray’s speech. Danish tennis star Rune, two-time Wimbledon finalist Ons Jabeur, and Denis Shapovalov also reacted to the Scotsman’s farewell from the sport.
WTA World No. #1 Iga Swiatek wrote, “Andyyy. We couldn’t wish for better support for women’s tennis. Thank you for everything, it was a privilege to stand on Center Court tonight. Congratulations on your amazing career. You are amazing @andy_murray.”
Three-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz, Australian tennis star Alex de Minaur, and India’s Sumit Nagal also took to social media and thanked the 37-year-old.

Andy Murray’s mother Judy Murray also took to social media. Meanwhile, American tennis star Coco Gauff hailed Murray as a Legend.
Former tennis star Feliciano Lopez and Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas penned a heartfelt note for the three-time Grand Slam champion.
Apart from these, the likes of Victoria Azarenka, Nadal, Djokovic and several other tennis stars also sent wishes to the Scotsman. In his post-match press conference, he announced that he will play his last tournament at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Before that, he will play mixed doubles at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships alongside Emma Raducanu.
