(Watch) Tennis legend Maria Sharapova clicks pictures with Billie Jean King and Bollywood actress

Maria Sharapova visited the All England Lawn Tennis Club to watch Wimbledon 2024 matches.
The Aman Essentials recently hosted an intimate dinner to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Maria Sharapova’s Wimbledon title.
The CEO of Aman Essentials, Kristina Romanova and the founder of the Business of Fashion, Imran Amed co-hosted the star-studded dinner. At the dinner, Indian actress Sonam Kapoor was also invited. Kapoor also clicked a picture with Pakistani education activist Malala Yousafzai.
Meanwhile, Maria Sharapova posed alongside Kristina Romanova and Imran Amed. She also got her pictures clicked alongside tennis legend Bille Jean King. The likes of British singer-songwriter Rita Ora, filmmaker Taika Waititi, English actor Idris Elba, Jefferson Hack, Daniel Lee and more were also invited to the dinner.
Sharapova was spotted in the Royal Box on Centre Court at the ongoing Wimbledon Championships on Wednesday. The five-time Wimbledon champion also spent time with tennis stars and clicked a few pictures at the Grand Slam.
Maria Sharapova won her first and only Wimbledon title on July 3, 2004. She defeated former American tennis star Serena Williams to win the prestigious title. At that time, Sharapova was only 17-years-old. With her triumph, she also became the second youngest female player in the Open Era after Martina Hingis to win the grass court Grand Slam.
At the 2004 Wimbledon, the former Russian tennis star stopped Serena Williams from completing a hat-trick of grass court Grand Slams. Sharapova was seeded 13th at the tournament and she recorded victories over Lindsay Davenport, Ai Sugiyama, Daniela Hantuchova and others.

Sharapova ended her professional career as a five-time Grand Slam champion. She won a total of 36 singles titles and also secured a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics. She was also ranked No. 1 in the rankings for 21 weeks.
She also uploaded pictures from her recent Wimbledon outing on Instagram. She captioned the post, “SW19 has never felt more relaxing. Thank you @wimbledon for an incredible day and for the best seats in the house!!”
