How does top 10 of WTA rankings look after Canadian Open 2025?

Victoria Mboko wins the Canadian Open 2025 title.
Victoria Mboko led a stunning campaign in Montreal, becoming just the third Canadian in the Open Era to claim the trophy on home soil. Fittingly, she stormed into the top-30 rankings, reaching a career-high World No. 25 and guaranteeing herself a seed for the all-important US Open.
Finalist Naomi Osaka may not be happy with her performance in the final, but she has performed better overall, allowing her to re-enter the top 25 for the first time in a long time.
The former World No. 1 Japanese sensation is now ranked No. 24, while semi-finalist Clara Tauson has been rewarded for her consistency with a debut in the top 15.
Elena Rybakina let slip yet another golden opportunity to claim a Masters title, falling to Mboko in the semi-finals despite holding match points in both sets. She finishes the tournament at No. 11 and is set to re-enter the top 10 rankings at the start of the Cincinnati Open.
Meanwhile, at the top, the race for the World No. 2 position is heating up, with Iga Swiatek reclaiming the third spot. Coco Gauff currently holds a healthy lead, but could come under pressure from the Pole if Swiatek manages to go the distance in Cincinnati.
The live race is equally compelling, with Swiatek close to securing qualification. The pressure is now entirely on Jasmine Paolini, as Rybakina replaced her in the current top eight. On the other hand, Jessica Pegula and Amanda Anisimova are also searching for consistency on their home turf.
