Indian MMA sensation Anshul Jubli is gearing up for an exhilarating debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). On October 21, during the highly-anticipated UFC 294 event in Abu Dhabi, this 28-year-old fighter from Uttarakhand will take center stage against American lightweight, Mike Breeden. The announcement was made during the UFC India broadcast of UFC 293 on Sunday.

Jubli's opponent, Mike Breeden, enters the Octagon with a 10-6-0 MMA record, but he's currently struggling with a three-fight losing streak in the UFC. In contrast, Anshul Jubli boasts an impressive undefeated record of 7-0 in pro MMA.

The Journey to UFC Glory

Anshul's remarkable journey to the UFC began with his victory in the Road to UFC Season 1 lightweight tournament, which spanned three venues starting in mid-2022. His path to victory included a fortunate bye in the opening round when his opponent missed weight, and a hard-fought split decision win against South Korea's Kyung Pyo Kim in the semifinals.

However, it was his knockout victory over Jeka Seragih of Indonesia in the lightweight bout at the Road to UFC final in Las Vegas in February 2023 that sealed the deal, making him only the second Indian after Bharat Khandare to secure a coveted UFC contract.

Anshul Jubli is undefeated till now

Anshul Jubli's journey through the world of mixed martial arts began in 2015, and he has remained undefeated ever since, both at the amateur and professional levels. His remarkable rise from an aspiring fighter to a UFC contender is a testament to his dedication and talent.

As Anshul Jubli prepares for his UFC debut, fans and enthusiasts eagerly await his performance on the grand stage of the Octagon. With an unblemished record and an impressive Road to UFC victory, he carries the hopes of Indian MMA fans on his shoulders, poised to make a mark on the global stage of the UFC. Come October 21, all eyes will be on this rising star from Uttarakhand as he steps into the Octagon to showcase his skills and determination against the seasoned Mike Breeden at UFC 294.
