Conor also revealed that he was preparing for the Nate Diaz rematch around that time. McGregor fought Nate Diaz for the second time at UFC 202 in August 2016. He managed to win the second encounter to tie their head-to-head record.
“That was a great night – it was at Jennifer Lopez’s birthday party in Las Vegas. We were in the middle of preparing for the Nate Diaz rematch. Training was going great.
My dear friend Cristiano Ronaldo came out to visit us and watch the training, and I asked him, ‘What are you doing for the night?’ He said, ‘I’m going to Jennifer Lopez’s party.’ I said, ‘Any invites?’ He said, ‘Yeah, come with me.’ And there we went – met Jennifer Lopez. I went with my lady, my coach, and my training partner, Dylan. We had a great, great night.” Conor Said.
