The Meta CEO was previously keen to fight Elon Musk in the Octagon
So, Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg has been on full throttle since it was known that he might fight Elon Musk in a boxing/MMA match, but it turned out to be some kind of social war between both men. Currently, Zuckerberg is going through rehabilitation after he got his knee injured during training last year.
But, Pubity on their Instagram page has given an important update on when we can see Zuckerberg return.
On, Instagram Zuckerberg posted his picture alongside Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya in which Pubity commented, “When’s Dana putting you on a card??”
For which Zuckerberg replied, “Want to do it when my knee is fully recovered”. With plans to fight Musk in scrap, Zuckerberg could make his UFC octagon debut once he recovers from his knee injury.

How did Mark Zuckerberg get injured?
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta Platforms Inc., had surgery to repair a knee injury he had while practicing mixed martial arts. Zuckerberg claimed to have torn a knee ligament while practicing mixed martial arts in an Instagram post. To prepare for a “competitive MMA fight early next year,” the 39-year-old is undergoing training.
Zuckerberg wrote, “Tore my ACL sparring and just got out of surgery to replace it. Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me. I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that’s delayed a bit. Still looking forward to doing it after I recover. Thanks to everyone for the love and support.”
During the outbreak, Zuckerberg began practicing mixed martial arts. Since then, his interest has grown beyond casual, and he has created an octagonal battle ring in his garden. In May, Zuckerberg won gold and silver medals in his first Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament at Woodside High School on the Peninsula.
Last year, the billionaire shared a selfie of himself with two black eyes and a battered nose, explaining that “sparring got a little out of hand.”
Following a heated dispute on social media last summer, Zuckerberg and Tesla CEO Elon Musk agreed to a cage bout but it couldn’t come into reality.
