The Seattle card features multiple heavy hitters

After delivering a middleweight banger from UFC Apex, the MMA leader is packing its bag for Seattle for the next event which features ‘Triple C’ Henry Cejudo. The UFC Fight Night: Henry Cejudo vs Song Yadong is set to air live on February 22, 2025, at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, United States.

The event will mark UFC‘s fourth visit to the city and first since UFC on Fox: Johnson vs Moraga which took place in July 2013. The promotion has announced a total of twelve fights for the Seattle card, the card also initially featured one of the greatest Bantamweight Dominik Cruz who was scheduled to face Rob Font.

The former two-time Bantamweight Champion withdrew from the fight due to injury and announced his retirement from the sport. Font is now set to battle Jean Matsumoto. In the co-main event, two familiar foes will collide as Brendan Allen battles Anothy Hernandez.

Henry Cejudo vs Song Yadong – Bantamweight (135lbs)

Former Flyweight and Bantamweight Champion Henry Cejudo is set to battle rising Bantamweight star from China, Song Yadong. This will be Cejudo’s third fight since returning from his short live retirement, the former two-division champion has suffered defeat in his last two outings and he is looking to get back in the win column.

Song too is coming off a loss against former champion Petr Yan last year. The clash will be the battle of a young star colliding with a veteran, both of whom are looking for a win come Saturday.

Brendan Allen vs Anthony Hernandez – Middleweight (185lbs)

In the co-main event also dubbed as ‘people’s main event’ heavy hitters Brendan ‘All In’ Allen will battle Anthony ‘Fluffy’ Hernandez. This will be a rematch from their first meeting seven years ago in Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) where Hernandez won.

Hernandez is currently on a six-fight win streak while Allen recently suffered defeat against Nassourdine Imavov last year that shattered his seven-fight win streak. Both fighters are looking for a decisive win that would help them propel towards the title which is currently held by Dricus du Plessis.
