UFC Noche honours Mexican fighters this week.
For the third straight year, the UFC is celebrating Mexican Independence Day weekend with a stacked fight card under the Noche UFC banner. After two years in Las Vegas, both headlined by unforgettable flyweight title clashes between Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko, the tradition now makes its way to Texas.
On Saturday night, the Octagon lands inside the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, promising an action-packed evening that continues the spirit of honoring Mexican fighters and fight fans.
This time, the spotlight shifts to the featherweight division, where rising stars Diego Lopes and Jean Silva square off in the main event. Both men have quickly built reputations as dangerous finishers, and with title implications looming large in one of the UFC’s deepest weight classes, the stakes couldn’t be higher.
The main card also features seasoned contenders and exciting prospects alike, including Rob Font, Kelvin Gastelum, and Alexander Hernandez, ensuring plenty of fireworks before the headliner. Meanwhile, the prelims showcase talents such as Tatiana Suarez and Amanda Lemos, adding further intrigue to a night stacked with international flavor.
With passionate crowds expected and high stakes across the board, Noche UFC 2025 looks set to deliver yet another unforgettable night of fights.
Diego Lopes and Jean Silva payout
The featherweight main event between Diego Lopes and Jean Silva is expected to lead the payout sheet at UFC Noche. Lopes, who has become one of the division’s most marketable stars, reportedly earned $682,000 in his title fight against Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 314 earlier this year. That figure included his show purse and additional bonuses, reflecting his growing value to the promotion.
Silva is also projected to take home a six-figure purse on Saturday. At UFC 314, he reportedly earned around $206,000, which included a $50,000 performance bonus for submitting Bryce Mitchell in the second round. His continued rise as part of the Fighting Nerds team has positioned him as one of Brazil’s top young stars in the UFC.
Other main card fighters’ payouts
In the co-main event, bantamweight veteran Rob Font meets rising contender David Martinez. Font has long been a staple in the Top 10 and commands a higher salary.
According to a report from MMA Fighting, his purse for a split decision win at UFC Seattle over Jean Matsumoto included a $160,000 show purse and a $160,000 win bonus, totaling $320,000. Martinez, still early in his UFC career, is gradually working his way toward bigger paydays.
Meanwhile, former interim middleweight title challenger Kelvin Gastelum returns to action. His disclosed earnings peaked at $421,000 at UFC 316 in June, marking the highest purse of his career. Earlier in his run, Gastelum earned a $150,000 base salary in his 2019 interim title fight against Israel Adesanya.
